a 7 footer playing good defense in the paint in spurts. It's easier to make great defensive when you don't have to carry the load on the other side.
:gucci:

It wasn't just the paint/rim where he was playing good defense, it was all over the floor. He was playing great defense while carrying a heavy offensive load - he was one of the Thunder's main rim protectors, as well as defending a similar amount of shots per game as Avery Bradley and Klay Thompson in the 2016 playoffs, while holding opponents to significantly lower (than their standard) FG%.
LeBron didn't both for about 10 years now getting chilling a lil on defense he just horrible now?
:gucci:

Kd can't do all that LeBron do on that court
:gucci:
Reason I put LeBron over him. Now 2-5 is up for debate
If you don't think KD has a great argument for being the best player in the league, you clearly aren't looking at this from a reasonable pov.

Lebron is having a better regular season, just like last year; KD will have a better postseason, just like last year
LeBron avg 32 8 9 in the playoffs last year. Kd 28 5 7. Kd won the ring that's the only reason u can say he had a better playoffs

KD bounced from a team with an MVP in his prime to another team with an MVP in his prime and the DPOY in his prime.

You'd never hear Lebron's coach and GM say some shyt like this about another player on his team:

"But if you're talking about who has the biggest impact on the way people guard us -- on the identity of our team -- then it's Steph. He's the engine. Everything starts with Steph," Kerr said.

"What we built was initiated by Steph," Myers added. "The offense starts with him."

If LeBron went to GS, the offense would still be designed around Curry. How can you not see this?

That's the point breh, Lebron didn't go to GS. KD going there has effectively rendered the conversation over.

He's been inserted into a system that, yes he enhances, but can ultimately function without him because he isn't the most important player on the team.

12-0 against Western Conference playoff contenders, dropped 35, 8, 5 shooting over 50-40-90 in the Finals, the most efficient Finals performance in NBA history in an almost sweep of a 12-1 Cavs team. I won’t get started with KD shooting 70+% when Bron was trying to guard him...

I don’t care how many layups and dimes Bron got in garbage time with games already decided; KD was the best player on the Earth in the 2017 playoffs and Finals.

That's crazy talk. The same talk dudes used against LeBron when he went to Miami and teamed up with two arguably top-10 players in their primes - one of whom has one of the highest peaks in NBA history. You're better than to fall victim to narrative/agenda, than value actual play on the court. I'm not specifically talking about you here, but this is why I can't stand LeBron stans, when they were defending him when others were saying LeBron can never be an all-time great, never be mentioned next to Jordan, his rings won't mean a cotdamn thing etc when he went to Miami. Now they're the main ones using those same talking points (that they were defending LeBron against), to condemn Durant.

Like how the hell are you gonna spend all those years defending LeBron against bullshyt agendas, and then use those very same agendas against another player, and then prop up LeBron over that player because of said agendas. They've basically been arguing against themselves all this time.

:mindblown:

It can function without him because he doesn't dominate the ball or force the team to play to his strengths. He fits in almost seamlessly while having elite impact. Again, if LeBron went to GS, the team would still be able to function without him. How does that prove anything? The fact that Durant doesn't need to be all up in the videos on offensive possessions and STILL has elite impact should weigh heavily in his favor in this argument.

Steph actually had a better playoffs run then Kd. But Imma let u cook. You obviously just talking and don't know what u talking about. You know how many points LeBron scored in the 4th quarter of the finals? I'm trying to figure out where you got that "lay ups and dimes in garbage time" from

all of a sudden KD is an elite defender :dead:

couldn't defend himself from a 3-1 comeback :dead:

joins a 73 win team, also one of the best defensive teams ever, and now he's coincidentally elite on defense :dead:

:hhh:Ya'll really tryna claim that a nikka that said this is better than Bron?:hhh:

“I don't want to have to be the leader. I'm not a leader. I'm bad at saying, ‘Stand behind me and follow me.’ No. I'm one of those guys that's just like, ‘Let's do this shyt together. Let's just work everybody together.

KD is a great player and is maybe the most natural scorer I've ever seen but that dude ain't leading your team to no title. Gimme Bron, Steph, Kawhi (and I don't even like Kawhi like that) before KD.
