It's kinda wild that Bron is in his 15th season and KD, who is unarguably a generational type of talent, happens to currently be in his prime, and I think most people would agree that Bron is still better at this point in their careers. I think KD is the best player in the world. Slightly ahead of LeBron, the defense separates them. I had KD farther ahead last year but Bron's shooting this year has been incredible and he closed the gap a bit. Bron plays defense in spurts throughout the season these days. I think KD is a bit more locked in defensively (that sounds crazy to type that about KD playing defense)

KD has nowhere near the responsibility to his team that Lebron has to the Cavs. KD is not a leader, he doesn’t have what it takes to be a leader and that’s why he went to GS. You can’t dismiss that when comparing the two. There’s no 1a and 1b, Lebron is clearly the best player in the league.
