Ban pit bulls

There is no solution. The little girl has passed. A solution would be something that would've saved her life when it was still able to be saved. As far as criminal charges, the owner was not home and the dog was properly secured within his home. If there are to be any charges it should be against the father for negligence and child endangerment. So what's the solution? Criminal charges for dog owners?
Yes the fukk you should, don't ever think pits are the only dogs that need caution. My pits never bit anyone, they was overall great dogs and super friendly. But still people are afraid so for their safety and my dogs, I always kept them in the back yard and always had them on a leash, just like any other dog should be. That's what I meant by safety for everyone. You gotta own a pit to understandBut thats the point tho, you shouldn't have to take that much precaution to raise a pet.
Im saying this cause i got friends with pits, and are all well trained and ive seen how quick they can flip. And even tho they seem to be good towards me, i will never be comfortable around them.
Then you need to be "evaluated" in order to be a dog owner. Then dirtbags will just move on to the next "bad ass" dog
You seem not to be willing to acknowledge the clear difference in a pitfall's temperament vs other dogs. Time and time again we hear about these stories of people getting attacked/killed and the dog doing these killings is almost always a pitbull. So while I agree that all dogs should be trained and handled with caution you have to admit that there is a stark difference between a pitbull and all these other dogs. You never hear about Boxers just snapping and ripping a child's face off.Yes the fukk you should, don't ever think pits are the only dogs that need caution. They're no temperament difference, people just train pit's into killers and then wanna have them walk around in public like shyt is all sweet. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because I would feel comfortable leaving my loved ones with a Boxer over a pitbull any day. Those dogs just seem so unpredictable and dangerous to me. I don't think it totally has to do with the owners either. I think there is something inherently different about pitbulls that allows them to go on these killing sprees. Like I said, you never hear about Boxers exhibiting this type of behavior. They're no temperament difference, people just train pit's into killers and then wanna have them walk around in public like shyt is all sweet. Damn RIP angel
this why I don't fukk with dogs period
Um this particular dog didn't go looking for anything. According to the kids and mother a little boy was hitting the dog in the face with a stick and then he got attacked. The boy was bit but not killed and yes this dog was big enough to kill that boy if it was his nature to do so. The dog is currently in quarantine and the people at animal control and the shelter have stated that the dog is non-aggressive! If he was he would be dead right now. The only reason he is not back with the owners is b/c they are illegal in this county but when they register him to another address they will get him back.My question is the nature of the dog. Most dogs who are abused of other breeds don't go around looking for human meat no matter how bad they are raised by humans. A lot of the time it is Pitts. No other dog be killing other small dogs or children like Pitts. The rest when they are abused usually attack adults because they relate them with abusers or they will whine and whimper because they think you have food and the owner not feeding them.
The psychology of Pitts are still questionable and they are bred to fight not to nurture small human children.
People who buy boxers are in my opinion more responsibile than pit owners. They understand buy the dogs for breed and personal preference. People buy pits to usually fight them, train them to protect the home or just heard about the rep of the dogs and just wanted one. But I did hear about Ving Rhames dogs killing some dudes years ago. So it depends one the ownerI guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because I would feel comfortable leaving my loved ones with a Boxer over a pitbull any day. Pretty much. Obviously these people have never been around dogs if they think other dogs aren't as bad or worse. I know a standard poodle that will eat your face. Fifi is bigger than a Pitt and don't play. They're no temperament difference, people just train pit's into killers and then wanna have them walk around in public like shyt is all sweet.
