So you want Quik to do all the studio work while Andre is chillin at his home gym only to come in the studio, add a sound effect to already completed music, & say it's produced by Dre.

No, Quik should just be able to do what he does best on a bigger platform or label while Dre still produces alongside him (while both get credit for whatever work is done by either of the two) and handles all other business deals. But Quik needs a deal like an Interscope Aftermath VP position so he can really be making what he should and be able to venture into new avenues like Dre has with the headphones. Quik's talent as a producer and engineer, aren't being compensated and acknowledged as they should be. Quik should be paid like Dre is.

Definitely hear that... just saying you put quik in a studio by himself and say make a jazz song... and he can spit it out. put dre in a studio by himself and say make a jazz song and its just not going to happen...
its definitely different types of producers and i aint saying dre aint talented as hell... just contrasting what they bring to the table.

Quik may have more range in style but Dre can make beats and produce. Dre's production credits on the legendary albums speak for themselves.

He really could help R&B out, especially since his sound has always been R&B rooted Funk based and yeah everything went smooth with all those R&B acts.
