Sure buddy. LOL
You're attempting to out this off as some hoax that was put out there against some long running narrative.

This information was put out by lead republicans in the Senate.

McConnell later added: "As part of our ongoing information sharing efforts, today DHS notified the Secretary of State or another chief election officer in each state of any potential targeting we were aware of in their state leading up to the 2016 election. We will continue to keep this information confidential and defer to each state whether it wishes to make it public or not.”

How is informing states they were potential victims of Russian hacking hoaxing?

Except the article literally posts the debunking of said claims.
The article says that the system DHS said was targeted was not targeted, but another was.

The initial claim is that Russians may have targeted certain internet facing election system in some states.

Potentially.

A very key word.

What you're attempting to do is, for example you receive an alert from your bank saying people who shopped at a place may potentially be victims of credit card fraud and you check your account and say, nope didn't happen to me. Then make the conclusion, the credit card scam hoax has been debunked.

:mjlol:

DHS/congress got it wrong on two of the states they have notified so far. :manny:

Except as the article says, the DHS has walked backed their initial pronouncement greatly and there isn't much proof or substance behind the allegations but the media and folks like yourself run with it.

LOL

They still can't even define how Russia 'interfered' in our election, is it hacking grids or exposing Hillary? Either way, why should I give a fukk?

The entire mainstream media conducts disinformation campaigns on behalf of the CIAA but I'm supposed to care about russian bots that slipped through the cracks on Facebook?

Not a single person outraged at the thought of foreign interference in our election cares about AIPAC being the most powerful lobby in American politics :skip:
