How about my wife works in that hospital and all that shyt happened right where she would have been if she would have been at work. The shooter's wife was admitted into another part of the hospital and he got violent with the nurse. They had him escorted off the premises. Then he got a gun and came into the other side of the hospital and when he got to the floor that my wife worked at, one of her friends actually stopped the security guard and the gunman and asked what was a code "silver". The security guard was like, "I'll tell you later". They kept walking and when he realized that the guard was just walking him around instead of taking him where he wanted to go, he got mad and started shooting people. She told me this at about 5am this morning. The shyt's all fukked up.

Damn.

I was born in this hospital

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - There are still a lot of unanswered questions surrounding Officer Green's death.

Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran said the vicious attack on Officer Green was caught on surveillance tape, and he had some new information on whether Lawrence Wallace was still handcuffed when he got to Metro Jail.

Cochran said he has seen the surveillance video that shows the attack on Officer Steven Green.

Cochran said it happened very quickly and took place outside of the officer's squad car, just steps away from the docket room at Metro Jail.

"It became obvious that the suspect wasn't handcuffed when he exited rear of police car, but hid that fact from the officer and kept his hands behind his back at the same time, and hid from Officer Green," Cochran said.

Cochran does not know what Lawrence Wallace used to fatally stab Officer Green, but said he has greater cause to believe it was something other than the necklace around his neck.

"I haven't seen it, touched it, or held it in person," Cochran said talking about Wallace's necklace. "May have nothing to do with it; (it’s) too soon to jump to conclusions and believe that."

Cochran said after Officer Green was stabbed, he went into the docket room for help where the jail's medical staff tried to save his life.

"Almost immediately, medical personnel rendered first aid, or nurses, nurse practitioners and people with triage kits, then paramedics arrived shortly after," Cochran said.

Cochran said after stabbing Office Green, Wallace took off in Green's patrol car with his service weapon inside.

Cochran said his deputies chased Wallace down I-10 getting off on the Dauphin Island Parkway exit.

Cochran said his deputies were among those who fired the fatal shots ended that Wallace’s life.
