Even though I live in a country where guns are illegal and I generally don't see the need for civilians to own firearms, I don't think banning guns is the solution for you guys. I've always thought that it should be mandatory for every registered gun owner to go under annual psychiatric evaluations in order to reduce things like this happening. I do also think that getting guns shouldn't be as easy as it currently is. I remember going into a Sports Authority store and just seeing their hunting rifles up for sale. There would be so many people up in arms. Not only for insinuating they're crazy for wanting to own a gun but even for proposing something as "socialist" as the their taxes going towards paying for mental evals.

I remember watching Bowling for Columbine and seeing a walmart where they sold guns right in the store. I grew up with gunless walmarts so that was a bit of a shock to me.

Guns are pretty inconvenient to buy legally where I live and quite the process. It's simpler than it used to be if you don't mind searching for a few buildings, going to the fukking dmv, going to police headquarters and being fingerprinted. If you can do that and pass the online course then you can have your gun. Can't carry it outside, tho.

im like they are criminals for a reason, they dont follow laws. if a criminal wants an AK with a drum mag, best believe he will get it and no piece of legislation will prevent him from doing so.
