There's definitely something to it....some families, people just have kids earlier while other families have kids later.
My pops' family, most folks have at least one kid by age 25. Quite a few before age 21. It's been like that for awhile.
Mom's family is the exact opposite. My 2x-great grandfather was born in 1847 and was 42 years old when his first kid was born (wife was born in 1866, she was 23).
Great grandfather & great grandmother had 11 kids together but they didn't start until he was 34 and she was 27. Most people waited until at least 25 and most had kids after age 30. That's how several of my relatives on pops side are grandfather's/grandmothers in their 40s (great grands in their 60s) while the grands on moms side are all around 70 years old.
