I do think children need discipline.
This young man clearly needs/needed it...I think this is a terrible way to "instill" discipline though. Embarrassing the child actually goes AGAINST the point she's trying to make.
Why wait until NOW to get on the kid? He's failed the class already. You wanted to help him, stop buying him Jordans and get the kid a tutor. All F's? That's a sign that its MORE than the child. There had to be SEVERAL warnings BEFORE it got to this point. She just now realizing his grades were ALL F's? He needed somebody checking his homework, helping him, tutoring if possible...Not giving stupid haircuts and videotaping.
Funny thing is, I bet you look at her FB, IG, etc....BET she got a bunch of pics of herself. This kind of behavior is a byproduct of the "attention whore" society. Saw one guy do it to his boy, now EVERBODY thinks its a great deterrent. Parent your children, spend time with them. Hug them, talk to them. When you have to discipline, make sure they understand WHY you're doing what youre doing, THEN do it, and hug them right after. Most importantly, keep it IN HOUSE. Family business is just that, FAMILY BUSINESS...
