It depends who they are.

At best cancel culture is just a couple thousand bored clowns at a time. Depends if the company tied to them knows that social media is far from real life.

If they're trying to cancel an internet personality, it has 0 effect

People despise having to wear the badge of their actions. Dave unfortunately has fallen for conservative drivel that plagues this particular topic. Comedians have always been criticized for their jokes about various people on various topics. I remember the Asian community pulling up on Sarah Silverman and David Spade for their Asian jokes.
On this very site, we have brehs that don’t fukk with certain comedians due to Black jokes they’ve made on stage, but it’s somehow not okay for other people to be offended by jokes aimed at them.
It’s all hypocritical bullshyt.
Dave knows he’s not being cancelled, Dave knows that he can’t be cancelled unless he has some nasty illegal shyt hidden in the tuck, Dave like a lot of his peers just doesn’t like to be criticized.

It’s a right wing talking point. Conservatives love playing the victim almost as much as they hate everything that is different from them

To add to this conservatives are mad they can't be overtly racist in public and online without facing backlash from the general public. Somehow black men and women have been bamboozled into thinking they should push this message...

I can’t lie, it kinda feels that way. Fake outrage and victimhood isn’t just a liberal thing. Chappelle is doing well. The only person I remember being canceled is Michael Richards.
The Right-Wing in this country destroyed the Dixie Chick's careers for rightfully being against the Iraq War and calling Bush out. "Do as I say not as I do" if you will

Welllll, to be fair, if you have a black person who may have said something errant in the past and this black person is beloved by many, then I could see why black people would be like “Wait a minute, let’s put some breaks on this cancelling stuff.”

I dunno, the main people I see black people on the Coli typically whining about are Bill Cosby and R Kelly which, to be frank both deserved/deserve to go to prison.

I keep asking y’all to name someone of note who was actually cancelled. Not counting people who literally committed crimes (Kevin Spacey, R Kelly) or did heinous shyt (Louis CK) and suffered consequences.

Even guys who took hits like Aziz Ansari are still out chea making money. Mel Gibson still out here. Chappelle still out here. Where are guys who were cancelled and can’t feed themselves because the evil mob got mad lol.

Any whiny little baby can cause enough of an uproar now and get my boy Al Bundy canceled off of Hulu.

I mean, I got all the episodes, but still...it's not right
