Not Only Is League Pass Via Cable More Expensive But Your Not Guaranteed Games In HD

Hold up. It's cheaper on a console? Nevermind that makes sense since they treat it as broadbrand (i.e. streaming) instead of native. Still how can the streaming games all be HD but not cable/sattelite? If it's not in HD on cable/sat, how can leaguepass have an HD stream. That makes no sense.

Not Only Is League Pass Via Cable More Expensive But Your Not Guaranteed Games In HD, Comcast Offers ONE

ONE

ONE

HD Game A Night
http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/

This is new. The Broadband option was the same price as the Cable option last year.

I have Comcast internet, but that 1 HD game shyt is exactly why I didn't want to get it with them. I thought it was bullshyt that it cost the same as the cable package last year, but I see they changed it now. I think that should count for mobile devices too, but whatever.

That's just a Comcast thing breh.

My parents had UVerse and they've had DirecTV before and when they were doing the promos with the free League Pass, best believe all of the games were in HD. Comcast is just :flabbynsick: with League Pass.

Figures. I swear if I could leave these Comcast clowns for another ISP I would, but no one offers their speeds in my area. Need to check with AT&T Uverse though to see their ISP offerings.

Once the Sunday Ticket deal is up with DTV after next season, shyt will be interesting....

:whoa:

I'm against all the TV providers because they're ridiculously overpriced. I've been cut the cord. But nobody is touching Comcast in my area for the data speeds so that's why I roll with em. Downloading 10GB files in like 25 minutes and all my streams flickin' in HD over wifi throughout my crib.

:myman:

I just ain't paying for a TV package unless I know a cable guy who's going to give me some crazy hookup.

No, the broadband option isnt any cheaper, still $189. At least with cable you can call your provider and haggle them down on the price.

AHHHHH, you're right.

I knew I wasn't tripping. You only get 5 teams for 129.99

But for the entire league (and they black out games on TNT, Local games, ABC games, NBATV games etc) it's still 189.99

I'm glad the coli put me onto a better and cheaper alternative. I tossed League Pass in the bushes last week.

Playstanleys probably have cluttered fukking entertainment centers, with 20 different black boxes surrounding their TV in order to have some decent funtionality. Meanwhile the Xboxwon crowd's entertainment center will be looking so clean...:banderas:

Uh, you still need your cable box there. Xbox just adds another, larger cablebox to whatever you already have :heh:

What alternative you got? I read that nationally broadcast games will be available this year in the archives, which is cool.

They auto-renewed my shyt on Oct 1st. I was like :beli: was gonna call up and cancel but ehh fukk it. As much basketball as I watch, it works out to less than a dollar a game :manny:

I saw the email about mine getting renewed and I cancelled it.

Check your PM though, just sent you the info on that alternative...

I looked at Uverse since it's available in my area, but the fastest they offer is 18mbps. My comcast bill is now 75 a month for internet only... :beli:

Gonna threaten to bounce to Uverse to see if they give me a break.
