Yeah...your keyboard makes it really easy to change the words around. But does it come off as truthful? Not really. I mean, the term "bleeding-heart conservative" isn't really that popular for a reason.
Both sides are guilty of operating in information vacuums, I think it seems to play out as it does because liberals make it competition and thus become antagonistic. It's win-or-lose, I'm going to prove to you why I'm right and you're wrong which too often lazily devolves into I'm good and you're bad whereas conservatives have a that's the way I think, I don't care what you believe attitude.
What "information" are you referring to?
If there is any hubris on the American left, it's that liberals constantly overpromise and underdeliver. They talk a big game about progressive policies and then refuse to actually fight for them because they're afraid of the political consequences.
Conservatives are the opposite. Their policies are trash to begin with, but propagating them yields great political rewards. So conservatives do what Trump does now---make dumb people believe in their ideology and then slyly backtrack when they get into office.

the party and H. Clinton during the campaign instead of after.
