You're making my point...cousins is touches the ball more than fukking Lebron and has similar stats to Davis. Think about that shyt for a second. If Davis had the same amount of touches his numbers offensively would be spectacular and would breeze by cousins. I really like cousins as a player but dude holds himself back with how emotional he gets on the court.

You're swinging and missing here big time. 99% of the league would take Davis over cousins.

Correction, 100% of the league would take Davis over Cousins

Davis needs more touches next season

If you dont watch AD play, its hard to explain his impact defensively. He covers more ground than anyone I can remember, he is an absolute force

Exactly. I don't think there is ANYBODY outside of Bron that i'd trade him for, KD included. AD is going to be disgusting next season and for the next 10 plus years. Book it

once again i don't care about davis vs. cousins. i simply don't think davis is worthy of the hype some of ya'll give him. he might be better than cousins, but he is not that great. the fact cousins (who many people don't think much of) produces the same and is only slightly older should be evidence to that fact.

davis will NEVER be the best player on a title team. that is all. and if he can't do that, then he'll never be best player in the league, let alone best in the next 2 years WHICH IS WHAT I WAS RESPONDING TO.

The D
His numbers were already brought up in this thread, but I'll recap 20.8 ppg 10 rbs 3.0 blks shooting 52%. There were SEVERAL games this year where he flirted with a quadruple double. He is the best running big in the NBA, best shot blocker, has a face up game like a guard(because he was 1) and a mid range jumper to go with it. He understands what his weaknesses are and he is addressing them right now. He is adding bulk and working on his post game.

I'll use Pau as an example...

He destroyed Pau like he was never a multiple time all star

who can honestly say that this nikka cant be one of the all time greats (health permitting)? :mindblown:

they got this nikka running off screens on some Rip Hamilton shyt :mindblown:

And hes a PF :mindblown:

Pelicans better put some pieces around him :wow:

When should we open up applications for the Majestic Brow Bandwagon?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO work on your post game and add a tim duncan bank shot. Dont turn into chris bosh with defense. word to @Malta

STOP BLAMIN' BOSH FOR THAT

That's coaching. You think Spo is goin' :damn: Get in the lane! And Bosh just goes :childplease:?

No, ppl don't wanna recognized that Lebron has marginalize Bosh, by demanding soooo my space, that a 4 can even stay 20 ft, too long.

They've been doin' it since Bosh got there(I need to bang, big guys need the ball, in the lane), but, Bosh is finally embracing it (there was an article a couple months ago and he said he didn't want to bang)

Blame Lebron and Spo

:what:

Anthony Davis is 21 years old...

6'10 PF that was a high school guard just 4 yrs ago. At Kentucky he lived off of putbacks and alley oops. They didn't start running plays for him until about just past halfway through the season at Kentucky. Came into the league and had decent stats his first year 15/8/2 on 52% shooting. Again, he lived off of running the floor and oops, with the occasional jumper mixed in. Check this jump!

His 2nd year in the league he averaged 20/10/3 on 52% shooting. But beyond the numbers, if you watched him this year compared to last you would understand why I say he will be the best player in the league in 2 years. He has a willingness to WORK on his game, he's coachable and most important he has the tools!
He has the face up game of a guard in a 6'10 frame, his 1st step against other 4's is just STUPID! He attacks the glass like he wants EVERY rebound.

But the defensive end of the court is why I say he will be the best player in the league in 2 years. He is DOMINANT defensively, the added muscle will only help him to be stronger on the ball defensively. He closes out on shooters and affects shots because of his freakish wingspan. We don't even need to discuss the havoc in the paint he causes.

There may be other players better offensively, but in 2 years there will not be a better all court player than Anthony Davis, not Lebron and certainly not KD. The things he does defensively they simply can't do.

He reminds me of a more nimble Kevin Garnett.

Derrick Coleman was a husky dude.He could get grizzlie down in the post.

I could see AD developing a more finese post game, but I think his primary means of attack will always be his face up.

Sorta like KG

:dead: @ adding 15lbs of muscle...fukk outta here with that in such a short amount of time. Y'all will believe any type of bullshyt.
He's twenty man he's still developing. I have worked at and seen div 1&2 athletes gain 15 pounds of muscle over the summer season plenty of times.
