I think it makes sense considering the team he is on. We know Tyreke, and Jrue like to take it to the hole. AD developing a corner three will help open up the middle of the floor which will open up opportunities for his teammates. Doesn't have to be the main part of the game but can provide the opportunity for some easy baskets without having to put in as much work down low. As long as it doesn't become the main component of how he gets his points I have no problem with it.

Davis, the Pelicans' lone All-Star this past season, was joined at Monday's workout by teammates Darius Miller, Luke Babbitt, Alexis Ajinca, Jeff Withey, James Southerland and Pierre Jackson.

I never heard of none of these neegas :dead:

Pels need to get on TV AND they need to give AD some talent to play with.

They ever put a defensive big man next to Davis and he is gonna put up video game numbers...

Good thing new orleans has a trash ass front office...he will be on the market in what...two years...

Plenty of time for Swag Antonio to make a run at him :sas2:

If he stays healthy....he's the next Tim Duncan. Won't have the elite post moves as Duncan but will make up with that with is off the charts athleticism

He gonna be SPECIAL

Nah, he will never be the next Tim Duncan, not even close

He'd have to be the GOAT at his position and win 5+ chips, multiple finals and reg MVPs, and do it for 15+ years

If he does even 1/4 that he'd be happy with his career

I think he can be bruh or damn near close i'll say that. He's THAT scary good to me. Offensively, they have different skill sets but on defense, I think he's going to be up there with the greats. Sky's the limit for him. I think REALLY highly of him bruh.

At the top.
Kid is talented as hell. Nothing wrong with him adding this 3pt shot to his arsenal ..as long as it doesn't become a main part of his game. I hope he keeps developing, last season he was just :wow:

Since when does the franchise alter his game so other cats can eat? :dahell: They should be doing things to make shyt easier on him not the other way around. And why do people keep acting like you have to completely clear out for dudes to drive? Dudes been driving to the hole since forever with big men playing closer to the basket. If they had a low post threat it would make more sense but as it stands now I really don't see the purpose. Hitting a timely 3 could help on occasion but any MLE or less sniper could do the exact same for you. Do you really need that from him?

:mjlol: and i like AD he's a beast but you gone off the deep end.
Not really. 20-year-old averaging 20 & 10 with his shot-blocking instincts. Has a rapidly-improving jumper & can put the ball on the floor. What's stopping him? Compare his per-36 & advanced numbers with Tim Duncan's first two seasons. I don't see how it's a reach :yeshrug:

Hornets run a lot of pick and rolls. If they can add the extra wrinkle of Davis being able to pop out for the corner 3 it can throw the defense off just that much more. Having extra options is never a bad thing. Not saying completely alter his game but his teammates are somewhat limited. As far as players driving to the hole with teammates playing in the post, most slashers say they hate having a guy playing close to the basket. There's a reason Chris Bosh is purely a jump shooter now. Him stepping outside helped force defenders to decide on taking that extra step in the paint on Wade and Lebron and risk leaving Bosh open. Much easier to contest a shot sliding a few feet off the man you're guarding versus coming in from the three point line. NBA defenses are far too sophisticated now to think one strategy will consistently win no matter how great the player.

We applauding centers for working on their 3 point shot now :upsetfavre:
fukk he adding a 3 point game for? :dahell:
:russ:
The corner 3 is the shortest distance 3 on the floor...For him to not work on it would be negligent..It's the smartest shot in the game...

But yall know the game better than Monty Williams so why am I bothering telling you wassup..

:mjlol:
We get it, I think most people know that.
"Smartest shot in the game" though? LOL The smartest shot is always based on what the defense is dishing out. :yeshrug:

Coleman had over 1,000 3 point attempts in his career.. Dudes that didn't watch him trying to claim he was George Mikan

:russ:
tell other people they don't know what they talkin about and you don't know what u talkin about

Derrick Coleman was not a good 3 point shooter.
