We'll see how they mesh when he comes back. Will he blossom with a caliber of a big Man like Davis or just another empy stat point guard who really has no impact to a winning team *cough* Brandon Jennings*cough*
Holiday was playing pretty good before the injury, was shutting down opposing PGs and was passing the rock well. He was averaging like 18 points and 8 assists a game. Him and Reke are a good tandem on offense case both can handle the rock and Holiday can spot up while Reke operates. I think the signing of Reke signals pretty much the end of Gordon's tike in NOLA.
Davis and Reke actually are really good together in the pick and roll game. Evans draws a lot of attention when he drives to the basket and that leaves Davis open for the pass or putback. One thing Evans does well is with the "Kobe assist", he puts that shyt off glass sometimes cause he knows Davis can jump out the gym and slam that shyt easily. Since Reke has been put in the starting lineup two weeks ago, he's giving them 22/6/6/1, that's pretty good for a no. 2 and he's hitting the his set 3 at a decent clip.
Davis is just

I didn't know this dude had that good of a jumper and a god handlel, dude is taking people off the dribble like it ain't shyt and scoring at ease. If he adds a post game, he could easily average 27/15/3/3 and be a MVP candidate.
Gordon's contract with ends next year and that's huge as fukk for them. They can use that money in next year's free agency and try to get a SF who can stretch the floor and play D and get a center to go with Davis.
I think they're plan was to pair Davis with shooters and guards who can create their own shot. Davis/Holiday/Evans/Anderson is a scary core cause they're so young. So they're gonna grow together and get better together.
