Again not one post showing pippen taking over a playoff game or hitting a game winner like wade did in the ‘11 finals, kyrie in the ‘16 finals ad in the wcf.

All this shyt makes no sense.

I pointed out Pippen going 32-13-7 with 5 steals in the closeout game of the 1991 Finals.

When did Wade "take over" a game better than that in the 2011 Finals? Do you really think AD's game on Sunday where he didn't even show up until the 2nd half was better than that one? That Kyrie's all-around games were better than that?

Just trying to figure out what you're even trying to say.

EXACTLY .. I WOULD BE SHOCKED IF LEBRON LET AD WIN. AND U KNOW THE MEDIA IS ALREADY CROWNING LEBRON FMVP BASED ON NARRATIVES, SO EVEN IF AD STATISTICALLY OUTPERFORMS HIM, LEBRON WILL STILL MOST LIKELY GET IT.
Bron could avg triple single digits and still would be fmvp

What did MJ avg

How long y'all gonna do this for no reason? The claim was that MJ never let his teammates "take over" a game like AD supposedly just did (by hitting an incredible 3 shots total in the entire 4th quarter), now that that was proven wrong we're talking about series average?

MJ finished that series with more points, just like LeBron has in something like 44 of his 48 career playoff series. Outside of the 2011 Finals, the only times LeBron has ever been outscored for a series were inconsequential routes. And that's crazy considering that LBJ doesn't even have as much of a score-first mentality as Jordan does.

So what point are you trying to make?

I just remembered - Paxson did it in a bigger game than this one:

Ended up with 20 in that game including 10 of the last 12 until the Lakers had to start fouling. MJ wasn't even the leading scorer in that game, Pippen was with 32. And that was a Finals close-out game.

And that wasn't even the only time MJ let Paxson close out a championship:

Of course, MJ is the one that let Steve Kerr take the series-winning shot in Game 6 of the 1997 Finals, then let Luc Longley take the game-tying shot that sent Game 1 of the 1998 Finals into overtime, then let Scottie Pippen take (and miss) the game-winner in overtime of Game 1, before air-balling his own game-winner in Game 5 and then finally making one in Game 6. So the narrative that MJ had to take every big shot is dumb as fukk.

This dude just posted John Paxson a role player hitting wide open jumpers(from Jordan)and fast break points.

then on that second clip, Jordan had all the points in the 4th until he passed it to an open shooter. This isn’t the same as AD and LeBron.

it’s either a part of the convo I missed or you are being willfully ignorant or you just don’t know.

Comparing Jordan and LeBron in the final moments of a game is laughable.

I get what you're saying, but the only people who will question who was The Guy will be those who weren't around to see it and read the statlines, and those with an Anti-Bron agenda....

Those people will remain in the minority...

We've talked about this at work after every game, no one I know is under the impression that AD is the best player on this team, and I literally have a coworker who hates LeBron but as he recently said, "he's a winner, cant hate on that"...

Nobody questioned Nash as the driving force of Phoenix's success despite leading the team in only 1-2 categories yearly. No one questions Magic as the Lakers guy despite not leading in statlines aside from 1-2 categories yearly, in fact, there is an express and widely held notion that Magic was the best player on the Showtime Lakers, and because most of us weren't around to see it, some of us go thru the motions to force Kareem as even larger than he was...

So this narrative that you arent the best player on your team because you don't lead in most of the stats is obviously contrived and pushed by a vocal minority to shoot at LeBron, because there are examples where guys don't try this dumb shyt. More importantly, we've had almost an entire year of watching these two together, LeBron has been the best Laker. The fact that people even have to argue against it at his advanced age is something else...

And the fact AD could be morphing into something greater is huge for both...

Historically, there will be a small minority that questions who the best player was and it will be those who weren't around to see it and those who use it as a bullet point to detract from LeBron. As it is in real time, the vast majority of those of us who are watching it will affirm AD's greatness but that LeBron was the best player on the '20 Lakers...
Hmm not sure if I’m completely sold on the notion that it’s not up for debate but this is a reasonable analysis :ehh:

But as we already see, the debate is already beginning to snow ball because the Lakers look like they are gonna be hoisting the Larry O’Brien in a few weeks

Just ask you a question? What point were you trying to make?
Someone tried to claim that MJ never let another teammate "save his ass".

It was a dumb statement. AD saved Bron's ass because he hit the game-winner? MJ let far inferior players take game winners in far bigger situations. AD saved Bron's ass because he made a total of 3 shots in the entire fourth quarter? MJ has let inferior players hit more than that in the final minutes of much bigger games. MJ never let his #2 outscore him in a big game? It literally happened in the first closeout Finals game of MJ's career, with Pip having an even bigger game than AD just did.

They're trying to rewrite history with the same stupid, "MJ would never" narrative. It's dumb, and there's counterexamples to all the shyt they're trying to say.

This dude just posted John Paxson a role player hitting wide open jumpers(from Jordan)and fast break points.

It isn't the same because what? AD hit a fastbreak score and 3 jumpers. Y'all are talking like he dominated the entire fourth. He hit 4 shots.

The claim in the conversation was, "MJ would never". And I pointed out plenty of instances where he did.

Comparing Jordan and LeBron in the final moments of a game is laughable.
Is LeBron still the guy who holds the NBA record for most game-winning shots in the playoffs?

Is LeBron the guy who holds the NBA record for most buzzer-beaters in the playoffs?

Is LeBron the guy who made multiple game-winners in his first playoff series ever AND the guy who hit multiple buzzer-beaters in his last postseason run?

Is LeBron the guy who scored 25 straight including the game-winner to close the critical game against a champion Detroit team?

Is LeBron the guy who scored the final 10 points of the 4th in a tied closeout game against a defensively elite Bulls team?

Is LeBron the guy who hit the last three jumpers including the one that sealed it with 30 seconds left in Game 7 of the 2013 Finals?

Is LeBron the guy who scored 9 of the final 12 and then had the critical block in the final moments of Game 7 of the 2016 Finals?

Does LeBron have the NBA record for best scoring average in elimination games?

Does LeBron have the NBA record for best scoring average in Game 7s?

Has LeBron won six consecutive Game 7s going back more than twelve years since he last lost one?

Just checking.

that same game jordan had 30 points and 10 assists the same shots he gassing paxson for hitting were literally assists from mj :dead:
Big dummy, you realize AD only made ONE shot in the entire 4th quarter that wasn't off an assist from Bron? :russ:

Meanwhile, THREE of Paxson's five shots down the stretch weren't off assists from MJ. Only 2 of the 5 shots were MJ assists. :snoop:

Backfire again. :mjlol:

And how many points did LBJ have on Sunday? "Bu bu but MJ would never! He scored 30 not 26. Heroes score 30, losers settle for 26!!!"

Every time y'all try to make a "gotcha" point it backfires dramatically off the actual evidence. :deadrose:

We were trying to double Michael down the stretch and (Paxson) hit some big shots,” Laker guard Tony Smith said. “We really didn’t want to come off Paxson, but if it’s a choice between Michael on the free-throw line or Paxson out there, well, you go with Michael.”

man stfu you groupie fakkit how many buckets did Jordan assist pippen on bozo?

nikka a bonafied groupie tryin to argue nothin. Pippen has Never Impacted a playoff game like wade, kyrie and ad did period. Lebron the “goat” with multiple all nba talent helping him win championships while pippen averaged 16 ppg shot 34% from the field and 23% From 3 the bulls in a finals series the bulls won :dead:

this dikkriding mf really tryin to downplay wades impact in the ‘11 finals

In Game 3, he was swooping in from 3-point territory or hovering around the rim in pursuit of rebounds, and he finished with 11 boards -- the most of any Miami Heat player. In Game 4, he appointed himself the Guardian of the Hoop, blocking two Dallas Mavericks shots at point-blank range and challenging others, fouling if necessary. If "No Layups" was the law, Wade was a vigilante.

And he did all of this while scoring 61 points in the past two games, including 14 of Miami's 35 points in the fourth quarters.

Pippen often created his own shots, what does this question have anything to do with anything? You tell me how many then.

Y'all move goalposts like a motherfukker. :heh:

"But Jordan would never let another guy make 3 shots in the fourth!"

MJ let Paxson hit 5 shots in the closing minutes of a closeout Finals game.

"But not the game-winner!"

Yes, the game-winner too on multiple occasions.

"But not Pippen!"

Pippen scored 32 in that same damn game, more than MJ did!

"But MJ scored 30!"

Yeah, and LBJ scored 26.

"But MJ assisted all Paxson's shots!"

No, MJ only assisted 2 out of 5 Paxson shots. LBJ assisted 2 out of 3 of AD's shots.

"But how many Pippen shots did MJ assist?"

You don't even know, so what are you even bringing it up?

This shyt will go on forever. :dead:

Pippen has Never Impacted a playoff game like wade, kyrie and ad did period.

He straight said it. :russ:

2012-13 Wade, 2016 Kyrie, and 2020 AD are all vastly superior to prime Scottie Pippen. :troll:

We're done here. :dead:

Bruh unless I missed it, explain to me why you're gassing AD hitting a gamewinner for the first time in his playoff life, in the first time he's been in a conference finals, early in a series they already were up a game?

You're making a much greater deal about that shot than needs to be...

Regarding Wade, he disappeared in multiple 4thQ's down the stretch of that series where Miami really coulda used his heroics. Yall stay gassing his performance in that series, he was 29 and in Year 8, that is not a series that should be spun as one of his legacy moments yet yall do it constantly...

He had moments where he lifted Miami to W's and performed well in L's, just like all the GOATs have had teammates have moments like that. '11 Finals is incredibly exaggerated for Wade's heroics...

Kyrie scored his only bucket of the quarter in a monstrous moment of G7, and played well in the games leading to the comeback. He has still yet to prove he can repeat that success without LeBron, last time we saw him in the playoffs he was playing some of the most embarrassing basketball we've seen from anyone recently, not sure why you wanna die on the hill of Kyrie....

But I'm really, really not understanding your motivations behind gassing AD...
