I love how Lakers fans can get into revisionist history. The Heat weren't supposed to win the 2011 finals. The Lakers were the favorites that year. Lakers fans conveniently memory hole that season. They were supposed to win and instead had a worse chokejob than the Heat. The Lakers got swept by the same Mavericks team that "embarrassed" the Heat. If that was embarrassing then what is losing Game 4 in a sweep by 36 points after coming off back to back championships? We not gonna forget that Kobe got locked down by the same "Old" Mavs team when he was a huge favorite?
this is revisionist history. When the smoke cleared and Mavs/Heat were the actual two teams left standing, yea we were heavy favorites to win.

What did the experts think about the Mavs vs. Lakers? No one gave the Mavs a chance

Choke Job? They peaked too early after the All-Star break and got they ass beat by the Mavs, early in that series they had their big run that usually put teams away and got them rolling. Except the Mavs came back and won that game. Their run was over that night. But y'all don't watch ball so I wouldn't expect you to know the difference

Yea this is clear bs. Good try though. The heat were clearly the favorites the moment Bron, Wade, and Bosh joined up. They didn't perform up to standards, or should I say Bron not performing is the only reason they loss to dallas. They should've won that in 5 if Bron don't choke.

Lakers wasting AD prime. Really got em teamed up wit a 37 yr old, turnover machine, who can't guard anybody. Damn shame :francis:

I don't think he truly understands that he's the most effective player on the team.

When LeBron comes back, AD needs to slap the shyt outta that nikka and tell him to stop passing the ball to Pat Beverly because that nikka trash and to keep giving him the ball.

In al seriousness, LeBron needs to tell him that he needs to step up regardless of who's on the court.

I mean, he did average 26, 9, 3, and 2 blocks on 61% TS for a full season with Lebron.

Also 28, 10, 3 and 1.6 blocks on over 66% TS during a playoff run that ended in a ring with Lebron.

Maybe he’s just in rhythm after missing so much time with injuries??? He never played 10 games in a row the last two years. It couldn’t possibly be that though could it? :francis:
The difference is where he's getting his points. He's down in the paint more often with Lebron out, With Lebron he's standing around the three point line. We know Lebron hates playing with post players as it can clog the lane when he wants to drive. When Lebron comes back I'd like to see more AD in the paint with more Lebron cutting or just staying outside to hit threes if teams double AD. He shoots the three good enough that'll allow him to still get his numbers without exerting as much effort.

I don't know what his shooting chart looks like with/without LeBron but if this is true then that's kinda on AD. He needs to go the Embiid/Jokic route and force himself in the low post and make plays from there. Hell even Sabonis is doing it and that's with a slasher like Fox in the game.

He's just not assertive enough with LeBron in the court.

Brons play style holds people back. Not an equal opportunity offense at all and not effective at all if you weigh win percentages in the finals. Hes lucky to always be surrounded by hall of famers . If he didnt start the super team era he’d have zero rings tbh.

If the fallacy that he made his teammates better was true Westbrook and AD would play great WITH him.

Apparently all those experts didn't watch ball because every single one of them picked the Lakers to beat the Mavs. No one was talking about the Lakers peaking early at that time. It was only afterwards the Kobe stans made the Peaked after the all-star game crap to excuse Kobe's shyt performance vs. the Mavs. The Lakers were the favorites in the 2011 playoffs. That's a fact. Read the article I posted. Vegas had the Lakers as the favorite.
