This argument is so retarded. Sounds childish almost. To me Kobe was the best player in the league from 05 to 08. How many title teams was Kobe on during that span? ZERO. Going by your logic the best players those years were Wade, Duncan and Pierce. Stop using team accomplishments to rank individual players.
I will do no such thing.

Were they considered the top 3 players? If so then you can make a case for them being the best. Kobe and Bron were considered top 3 players during mid to late 2000s. Both had the numbers, Kobe had MVPs. Bron had a MVP but Kobe had the rings. Both had top teams but only one of them won (multiple times) with their respective top team, friend.

Also, this debate is played out, but I'll bring up a few things that no one talks about.

1) Bron has all the stats. BUT, it's easier to get that when you play Bron Ball. Which is why Harden and Luka were able to post very similar stats to Bron (or in Westbrook's case, better stats). All of this is fine. However, if you have the 1 seed, it meant that you were successful in the reg season. And if you were able to win 65+ games playing this way, YOU SHOULD WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP, especially if you are the best player in the league at that time. Barring injury, there's literally no excuse.

2) If a player plays within a complicated offensive system that utilizes other players, it's gonna be hard to have all the stats. Think of how Brons stats would decrease if he had to play in the triangle or had to play with Shaq as the 2nd option (unless you think young Bron would be the top option despite prime Shaq being on the team).

I honestly think if you switched Kobe and Bron in 2009, NEITHER would win the title. BUT, Kobe's stats would be much better (think 32, 6, and 8), and Bron's would be worse (around 28, 8, and 6).

Men answer questions …. Women Deflect …Which One Are You….friend :manny:
I agree. Our rookie female coli friend has been deflecting since I first responded to her statement.

I told you that Kobe was better than Bron from the period of mid to late 2000s. Was there another question you want me to answer, friend?

He's a little slow, so you might have to say this a few more times.

Cornball thinks DIRK was the best player in the NBA because the Mavs won the chip in 2011. :picard:

He's completely out of his depth in this conversation, but like most hoes, they need to talk the loudest. I already sonned him in here.
