It’s disgusting and shows the utter dysfunction that he must’ve grown up around. In most normal families the family would step in and ensure a 23 yr old son/nephew/grandson etc would be a father to his kid, no matter what the situation with the mother. And in these situations, the fact that the 23 yr old is independent and even well off, wouldn’t change anything.

Thats good, but it legit doesn't change the fact that most men who have no connection to their children typically do so because the situation with the other parent is unbearable.

If you want to make this a black thing, understand that in the US black men, when not married to the mother, have the HIGHEST amount of time spent with their children than any other race at a level that isn't even comparable. So despite the image the media and black women portray, if a black man leaves his child and is out of their life ocmpletely its typically because the mother, that isn't to say the man can't be a total piece of shyt himself, but that is actually the minority.

he made that decision to not be around even before she became unbearable. just like he hasn't been in his other kids lives. he has 3 other kids and has made it clear he just wants to financially support them. it seems like it's him.
