Ring was bigger for fakkit to run and the rounds were shorter.
Yeah, AJ should’ve cut off the ring better but in time. It should’ve been his coaches reminding him, but we usually call the first 4 “feeling out” rounds.
Jake gave up his whole bag/strategy and was tired from running by the 4th. No amount of cardio he could’ve done would’ve prepared him for that and keep him at 215… maybe swimming laps for 30 minutes at a time.
He was trying to survive while stealing pop shots here and there. He got the lucky overhand to land once and AJ didn’t flinch.. there’s a reason why there are weightclasses and Jake would need to be a ball of muscle/weight/speed/power to hurt AJ with AJ ready for it.
