They started running a system to his strengths after he reclaimed the starting job and the offense started looking like something. That’s not absolving AR of his injury history and shaky passing but the rest of the team hasn’t been helping him at all.

By most accounts it seemed he outplayed Jones in camp.

However, taking that awful sack/which he broke his finger probably sealed his fate. I know he played last game, but they might think he's too fragile to be a starter.

I almost wish he had stayed at Flordia another two years. Just play ball and get better. Learn how to protect himself. Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix helped their NFL careers having so much experience before going to the league.
