Anthony Richardson has one of the highest ceilings we've ever seen for a QB

If you watched Richardson in college, you knew he was not ready for the NFL. He needs a minimum of 2 maybe 3 years of sitting and learning from a vet. No idea why Indy was so eager to put him out there.
Word, he was always a project qb and really wouldn’t be ready for a while. These GMs and coaches are just stupid.

Bro had to hit the bench because he’s a little tired and out of breath. fukkin’ lost me.
Ain't gon lie I ain't never seen no shyt like that before. That was soft as hell.

He's was better in the second half, but then the oline started tripping.

Desperate play by a GM who knows his time is almost over.

I mean premise of him having one of the strongest arms the league has ever seen is 100% legit.

However, man it's the guy simply doesn't have the pedigree to play QB at this level. A lot of these players have so many repetitions of throwing simple passes and playing a traditional QB role their whole life to the point it's automatic. That's basically what Anthony Richardson is missing.

I know the Colts will never do this because of where he was picked in the draft, but he would operate best in a Taysom Hill role. Short yardage plays, gimmick plays, 2 QB set bullshyt, ect.

Having him drop back and pass is never going to work. He doesn't see the field, he cant process the game quick enough, and he's highly inaccurate. He's everything you don't want in a QB

He may just need time. Lamar struggled to throw just first season playing

Lamar was light years ahead of AR even during the half season he played as a rookie. As a rookie, you can tell Lamar was able to process the game and make the right reads, his touch was somewhat questionable. But he knew where the ball should go. AR has no idea whats happening on the field half the time.

AR has a below 50% completion rate. This is comically bad. There are 3rd string backups who are better than that.

He was fine in the second half and added 45 yards on the ground. Nearly had a second td pass to Downs but it got called down at the one.

Also the dumb OPI by Pittman in the endzone to wipe a Td and Goodson dropping s TD.

First half was a mess. Bad passes from AR, bad drops, bad playcalling. The playcalls right before halftime were complete ass and helped lead to the INT. No reason to call teo pass plays there.
