Anthony Richardson has one of the highest ceilings we've ever seen for a QB

also what hurt AR was that he had very few starts, maybe another year in college would've helped him

but again i understand going into draft when your stock is at it's highest

and i don't think dan mullen did him any favors in his development either

either way, he wasn't ready to be an nfl qb

To this day he’s thrown more passes in college than he has in the NFL.

Dude is gonna be out of the league and it's a shame. He definitely probably should have did another season of college. I think he still would've been a first round pick with an extra season. So I don't feel like he made a ton more money. But, he would've at least probably built up some cache for in case he busted out that he could go back to Gainesville and still be treated like a king. Maybe throw his name on a couple of dealerships etc.

He's gonna play again though this year cause Jones isn't some juggernaut that can stave off his backup. I'm not sure where he can go and sit a couple of years and recover his game to stave off being a bust.
Not even just in his case but I never understand how guys have full off seasons & still don’t make improvements. I get sometimes you just don’t have it at that level but damn

Because he's not doing anything during the off-season. As a professional athlete, I refuse to believe that you won't improve if you just simply try to. The repetition makes it easier to become better.

NFL is not a development league. There is no time to develop a bad player like AR before the coaching staff gets on the hot seat. And now he'll basically go from spot to spot getting a half assed chance to do something. It's over. Darnold, Mayfield...all the guys who sucked initially but rebounded had much more experience than AR coming into the league. He started behind and never caught up because there was no time - between the injuries and coaching fukkery.

That SC QB is probably the next guy that NFL teams will fall over themselves to draft. At least he has much more starting experience than AR but as defense gets more sticky I just don't think this shyt is gonna work.

I haven't seen a QB be forgotten like this since Russ took the spot from Matt Flynn.
