It's like they're all saying "How dare she go out there and use her celebrity to bring attention towards the injustices committed by these upstanding pillars of society. I don't even care for Beyoncé, but I'm here for her expressing her beliefs through her art. She chose a critical time, when this message would be broadcast to the masses, and obviously its impact is real.

I can get behind that,100% as an African American woman who has had to turn on the TV and witness the loss of lives of people who look like me. Then men look my father, my brothers, my uncles, cousins, and friends. But I'm (and other people who look like me) just supposed to "turn the other cheek" and accept that "they're just doing their jobs."
