The attack will be attributed to a left-wing organization falsely characterized as a terrorist organization (i.e.: BLM, Antifa). Trump will then seize the opportunity to expand his executive powers.

This attack will probably happen around 2027/2028 so that he can extend his presidency and never leave office.
