learning from his mistakes would've meant he wised up, hired an accountant and attempted to shore up all his outstanding debts, cut back his spending and scale back his style of living..... while trying to stay in well enough shape to still collect NBA checks as long as possible.

Semantics aside, he had a lot of money. The average american probably grosses less than $1 million in their lifetime. Antoine was in a position to be very wealthy no matter how much money went to taxes, agents etc.

When he claims he had trouble even doing basic ass GE classes and playing basketball at the same time, this MBA talk is ridiculous and would have required him to be at college 4 times as long as he actually was. If he used a reputable financial planner to set aside even a few percent of his salary, he would be fine now. He didnt need an MBA to get some common sense.
