Chiefs are a better defensive team tho....you dont think they'll put up points on the Patriots D ?
Texans put up 16 with a complete scrub under center....
No question they'll score in this game,its about can they contain Brady enough and keep him off the field long enough,the key to that is LeVeon Bell...If he can run the ball and continue drives and eat up clock they have a good shot....
The Chiefs defense is solidly better than the Pats and Leveon Bell ran all over them. If Todd Haley didn't get a case of Varsity Blues syndrome they would've won a bit more comfortably. The Pats can't really stop the run and won't be able to stack the line like they did against the Texans

They're the third best run D in the league in terms of YPG
Their defensive stats, and especially their run defense, will be inflated above reality because they play in the AFC east (a mostly terrible conference whom they get big leads on and are forced to abandon the run), but especially this year because they played crap teams/offensive teams (Houston, Cleveland, Cinci, SF, Rams, and Broncos) outside of their division......and if you're being honest with yourselves if Brock didn't Brock the game up it would've been a LOT fukking tighter and possibly an upset.

The transitive property doesn't apply in football.
Tomlin specifically said prior to the Chiefs game he wanted to go in and "control" the game, and noted that explosive scoring plays (like they had vs. Miami) are not necessarily an indicator that you are "controlling" the game. They went in with the mindset to sustain long drives and let the Chiefs know they can move it at will. They did move the ball at will, they just couldn't get in the end zone. That does NOT mean they will come in with the same mentalty/game plan. That does not mean they will stall in the red zone a bunch of times again. Hell it could go the other way and we could end up shut out too. But the point is, it makes no sense to say "they scored 18 and no TDs vs the Chiefs, and our D is statistically better, so they will score even less than that against us". That's never been how football works ever. And please do not act like you haven't played most of the worst offenses in the NFL all season. You got the one game Ben missed due to injury and got to go up against Landry Jones
I just hope that the *s D is taking the Steelers offense as lightly as you are, because they are good but not flawless. I believe they will have to choose whether they wanna take Bell or AB out of the game, but will not be able to take out both. I also believe that if they choose AB, they will get burned by several other underrated weapons on our offense like Rogers, Jesse James, and Demarcus Ayers. DHB has burnt that defense deep a couple times too. This ain't the Broncos game from last year. Fitz Toussaint and Jordan Todman ain't walking through that door.
