Who exactly is prime gronk and what is so great about him ? He had an insane 2011 season that he topped off with 17 touchdown passes.
If his prime was that one season then that's not much of a prime. Outside of touchdowns Gronk's "prime" is what Travis Kelce has averaged for the last 5 seasons...
Kelce isnt half the blocker that Gronk is.
Having gronk on the line is like having another lineman which allows you to be more effective overall.

Gronk might have been the most dominant ever but Kelce's consistency and longevity has to mean something when it's all said and done. Gates was a beast too though and was probably as good as both at his best.
