See your doctor. You may need physical therapy to strengthen your core muscles. Abs and back. Your doc can point you in the fight direction.

Last night I couldn't walk brehs or even get up because the pain was so intense. It came out of nowhere.

I've been doing some stretches I found online and I can walk but it still hurts:mjcry:

Will this ever go away? I'm legit scared I've never had this happen before. I dont know if i can go to work on Monday

I agree with a lot of what's posted in this thread in regards to regular stretching, good firm mattress, lifting with your knees and legs, etc. But as one breh pointed out - physical therapy for core strength.

I have been dealing with back pain for several years. I haven't gone to physical therapy for it but one thing that makes a huge difference is core strength and strength in your glutes and posterior chain. When you strengthen your core and glutes they will support your lower back and relieve your spine of some of the hard work.

This happened to me. It got progressively worse with four days until I couldn’t stand up without th pain being a 7-8.
:picard:
I went to the VA emergency room the following morning. Waited maybe 75 mins and saw a doctor. I had a pinched nerve.
:damn:
Those shyts work themselves out. I got a 7 day pack of steroids, some muscle relaxers, and pain meds.
:blessed:
Pain completely went away with six days. I been good since. Got OT a few months back. They game me the six exercises to do EVERYDAY. Ask me how many days I’ve done them.

On squats I do now are hack squats. I try not to compress my spine as best as I can. I need to start stretching everyday.

I fukked my back up last weekend falling asleep on the couch. Been out of commission ever since. Literally have been laying everywhere, because the pain shoots to a 7-8 walking, standing, or even sitting. Sitting is by far the worst.

Ironically, I think I over-exercized and over-stretched and made it worse. I have an MRI Wednesday or Thursday. It's definitely sciatica related, but I know I have a lower back L5/S1 issue.
