Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
I make more than that , I'm pretty sure a lot of people here do:upsetfavre:

Yeah but ultimately it's enough money to live a good life in America and you're doing something you love.

Plus there are perks of being in that Industry such as travel

Artists don't go into the game thinking "I want to make 40,000 a year".

They want to be millionaires

Nah man...artist just want to express themselves and make enough money to survive/make a living

I mean success is hard to define, average salary in the US is 50k and with an advanced degree average salary in the US is 90k. So basically, if you enjoy leaving pretty poorly (in a large city), then go ahead and enjoy it. If you want a car, a nice crib, clothes, visit other countries, have kids, watch some ball games, eat good food and on.. You'll have a problem.

Even if it was 90k a year, you've got to make that for the rest of your life. If 90k is your peak years and your career is as long as the average career, then 90k is nothing. Unless you can venture into something that pays the same.

You've got to think about income over 40-50 years. Something a lot of rappers and ballers seem to forget about.
