I'm always surprised by the amount of small banks on the Nasdaq and other exchanges. I was just reading how BB&T bought Susquehanna.

I actually really liked working at BB&T. The organization was well run, in my opinion..

If the price is right I'd return.

But really, every bank is a small bank of you're not in the top 10 in deposits.

Even then there's the big 4 and then the rest

Busted a move to a smaller bank that just went public. I'm still working retail, though. But the promotion and raise weren't bad.

I'm probably going to accept the offer I have already as research is where I wanted to end up anyway. Would've preferred equity but whatever. Competition is stiff for sellside equity research associate openings. Im just going through the process because a fellow alum put in a good word. What's the bonus structure like for a capital markets analyst at a BB?
