What I find weird is that everyone acts like "cancel culture" is some sort of formal organization. It's just individuals deciding they don't want to accept another individual's bullshyt.
Cancel culture is not a thing you can just press a button and stop. It will always exist.

getting cancelled is light treatment considering people back then use to get exiled/banished for life. A practice that was done all over the world.

Cancel culture is not a thing you can just stop, so what exactly can we do about it? If I told you to stop cancel culture right now, how would you do it?
Keep in mind that MANY racist cacs have also been cancelled. You probably won't see children named Karen for the next 100 years.
So, that "power" would end up being taken away from us too even if you somehow got rid of it.
