OP, I didn't start watching GOT until the 6th season was airing because I couldn't get into it... and I've always loved medieval stuff.

I tried to watch the first episode 3 times and couldn't even finish it. I would turn it off after a few min.

But one day, I wasn't doing nothing and didn't have anything else to watch. And I put it on. And I forced myself to finish the 1st episode and the 2nd episode.

I was hooked after that.

First episode I saw was the episode Tywin was butchering a deer or some shyt and talking to tyrion.

We were on deployment(Navy)..

Brehs was like

"who the fukk is this midget?

"Is that nikka name tyrone??!!"

Damn that whole first experience was dope af...brehs talking shyt but lowkey was

"OH yea I'm finna check this shyt out ".

The aircraft carrier I was on aired the whole first season on 'SITE TV' ..(TV station for the ship)

I'm not an GoT fan but the huge threads that show and its spinoff got show is obviously popular with Black ppl.

My sister only watches those ratchet housewives of whatever shows and GOT got her calling me asking about the next season

I never watch any show until it’s finished or a a seasons or 2 in.. by the time it was finished everyone said the last seasons were trash so I avoided it.


I watched season 1 and I’m hooked.. on season 2 now

It's good up to the last season. I'd say watch the first 7 seasons, and leave the 8th up to your discretion.

It would be the best show of all time easily if season 8 didn't shyt the bed. It would be the best show by a WIDE margin...if not for season 8.

Never been into the medieval era but I was hooked after 4 episodes. Don't understand how people say they couldn't finish the first few episodes, especially when you see a white walker and someone beheaded in the first 20 mins of ep 1

Now that spinoff is hard for me to keep my attention. It's too slow compared to GOT
