xanax is as advertised, it removes all anxiety. For me though, they make me extremely boring and tired. Normally I'm a pretty quick witted humorous person but when I'm on xanax I'm not funny at all and can't even think of funny things to say. It's almost like I have no emotion (I do, but the emotions are "muted"). I never did it often, but it is nice to pop after a particularly stressful day and just veg out on the couch/watch tv/fall asleep. You'll have some of the best sleep of your life. It's a really relaxing drug, but it doesn't make me better socially. I can see why it's so addictive. It's kind of nice to be in that worry free state. You actually don't realize how much you worry about stuff until you do something like xanax.

edit: oh yeah, I ironically forgot to mention how much it fukks your memory. you'll wake up like happened

lol yes….Due to a daily powder habit which spiraled out of control early in my senior year of high school, I started using a lot of barbiturates to sleep, and combat the crushing anxiety and insomnia which my habit had incurred, it wasn't exactly a cure all, as one could imagine. They can be fun, very physically and otherwise addictive though, very common in party/drug scene.

A lot of stories related to it, in my gown at HS graduation selling bars to my friends, and generally staggering around, hugging friends that came to see me graduate, jumping all out of the procession line to get a diploma, waking up in a state of undress with various women not remembering anything from the last 8 hours but sitting around a table drinking, waking up in arguments with people with no understanding on how/why they started….seeing 'City of God' in the theater, walking back and forth from the bathroom, doing lines of xanax and white, and taking bars, all that quick editing fukking me up….Smoking blunts and taking them, eating enough for three people, (another side effect)

Too much dumb shyt. A few of my friends are still hooked on them, I cut them out 10 years ago, but they swear it makes them the best sales rep, real estate agent, whatever…

Longest blackout from (valium) not xanax was 3 days….similar drugs though

I took like a bar a day for 3-4 days. I still cant remember much about what happened but Ive been told I was a little off.. so I try to stay away from xanax. I have a friend though who takes it after work to unwind, and he hasnt had any problems
