Last month I was waking up no matter what after 2-3 hrs. I was getting decent sleep again, but now the past 5 days I’ve been having trouble sleeping again. I’ve been on a nightshirt schedule, so I’ve been going to bed anywhere from 7-10 am. It was ok for a while, but as of late, nothing has been really helping. Any suggestions? Especially as it pertains to nightshift schedule?

Will your schedule more than likely stay night shift or does it rotate? What state are you in?

I finally got some good night sleep last night

I usually wake up twice a night and try to go back to bed and get about another hour, then I got to wake up for work

I slept good last night because I stopped eating after 7 , I exercised and my mind wasn’t racing

It will stay nightshift for the foreseeable future. I do 3days a week so I have the option to switch back on days off (I typically don’t), which has its own problems as it quite isolating.

It seems like now, I just can’t get great sleep, when I’m sleeping when the suns out. I have night curtains, but it’s still a lot of light in the room.

You need 100% blackout curtains, a night mask 3-d ( I always boobie trap my door though:ufdup:so I can tell when someone comes in the room) , and some lavender

Yup, I've only started sleeping a bit better in the last 2 weeks. Between Feb and June my sleep pattern and lack of sleep was quite bad. I guess its mostly stress related but things are a little better.

Ashwagandha (KSM-66) or PS100

You can buy both on Amazon. Anytime I feel like I've been working too much and not getting enough sleep, I take one of those. Took Ashwaghanda a few days ago and had the best sleep ever. And someone just mentioned blackout curtains, I have those too. They definitely help.

My hairs thinning on the top to, out of nowhere. I’m hoping it’s not male pattern balding, but it is what it is in that regard.

Night shifts will fukk up your sleep, it's not healthy

Im learning that after my 3rd year in it. I maintained quite well, the first 2.5 yrs with some hiccups, but the problem I notice with nightshift is recovery takes long, it’s isolating, and if you have a stressful event, it’s a lot harder to get back into a sleep rhythm.
