Any brehs here deal with razor bumps?

I've been dealing with this shyt for 15 years. I can't ever get a clean shave. My shyt looks good for 2 days and then I get bumps all over my face. I have to keep a full beard at all times. Do anyone of yall have this issue?

For me, i stopped shaving entirely. Only use clippers on my face now. Did wonders, haven't seen a bump in a long time.

Used to trim everything off at first too, which worked fine, although nowadays i just keep a stubble length beard at all times.

Yeah. I just don't shave that closely anymore. I know that may not be what you want to hear but it worked lmao. Had to initially get on antibiotics to clear it up.

Never use a razor on your face or head, that’s the solution. Furthest you might can go is a foil shaver. nikkas about to come on here with 700 different remedies that ain’t gon work. If you got sensitive skin then you gon bump up no matter what. Some people skin just not meant to put a razor on. I don’t give a fukk what these nikkas tell you.

Make sure you're using a quality razor.
Wash your face with a facial cleanser like Noxzema everyday, not soap.
Get you some witch hazel or any facial astringent.
Put it on a cotton ball and hit your face with that right after you shave.
If you don't shave that day, still use the facial cleanser and the astringent after.

Got razor bumps for the first time last week because I shaved with an actual blade. shyt looks disgusting . It's called pseudofolliculitis barbae or something like that. Most prominently in black men due to how our hair grows. Gotta wait this out for like a month or so for it to go away. Stick to electric razors I usually only get one or two small barely noticeable bumps when I go electric.

I probably would've put this a little more elegantly but yea, I agree. At a certain point I got tired of torturing myself. I know for brothers in certain lines of work like the military it may not be an option though.

I used to get them like crazy, and my beard grows full as shyt like Ross or Harden. Used to only use clippers, but I'd have crazy shadow on my face and neck when I only use clippers. Went back to a mach 3, 3 years ago and really focused in my shaving technique...hardly get bumps or burn now.

I used to get them like crazy, and my beard grows full as shyt like Ross or Harden. Used to only use clippers, but I'd have crazy shadow on my face and neck when I only use clippers. Went back to a mach 3, 3 years ago and really focused in my shaving technique...hardly get bumps or burn now.

I've tried every razor possible but I'll try a Mach 3 if it worked out for you
