I work in the CPG industry for a very large/well known company.

You dont absolutely need a degree, or even a specific degree. To put it in perspective I have a broadcasting degree yet I do engineering, management, and statistical analysis.

Be prepared to work long hours, argue at times, and have something always throw a monkey wrench in your shyt.

Pay is great however for the amount of comparable schooling you need.

How did you get your foot in the door without a degree in the field? All jobs require like 3-5 years of experience. Did you build yourself up from an entry level role?

Stop listening to that 3-5 years shyt...its just a deterrent in a lot of cases. I mean, don't apply for a manager job and you have no experience; but you should be able to get a shipping clerk, logistics coordinator position with very little relevant experience or education. You just have to know how to frame your resume to what the job calls for.

Start looking at resume samples or resumes on linkedin that have the same job you are going for; and use details from the job description in your resume. Don't outright lie, but be prepared to have an example how your previous work experience fits the new job you want. Overall, just have a want to learn and have a good temperament. The job will get frustrating, that's a guarantee.
