shyt is outta hand. Imagine if it was you. This is basically an ongoing sexual assault on the media. Have some class and support respect over being a peeping tom.
I actually agree with you to some extent. It's wrong to look at the pictures.
I even understand the reasoning behind comparing this to a sexual assault (In California for instance, they passed laws against "Revenge Porn" and these celebrity photo leaks could be seen as in a similar ballpark).
The problem is that....I simply do not care.
I don't care at all about how wrong it is. My
personal sensibilities aren't being threatened. Their privacy being invaded doesn't make me feel defensive, insecure, or offended in any way. I find looking at their photos to be exciting and titillating, and that more than outweighs any tiny dent I may feel in my personal pride or ethics. Hell, the fact that it's wrong may even make it more exciting, it's salacious, but with so many taking part, there is little to no chance that I'll be punished.
It's the same reasoning behind downloading porn/music/movies/ebooks/software/games/whatever. Is it wrong to pirate? Of course it is. You're getting something and you're not paying for it. I spit on those internet pirates that try and justify it with "but bu bu...big corporations" and "well, I wouldn't have bought it anyways"....fukk outta here. You pirate shyt because you WANT IT and don't give a fukk about anything or anyone else.
This is a free meal. I'm going to eat.
If you're own personal sensibilities are hurt by looking at the pictures, I understand. shyt, I personally find a lot of those "dude gets stole on" or "women gets punched out" videos to be distasteful and tend not to watch them. But I don't expect or request others to feel the same as me. And you shouldn't either.
