It probably won't win the GOTY over Fallout but we all know which one will have the better and cleaner gameplay.

Yeah, that reveal made me even more confident MGSV will be the best game this year. I give a fukk about minecraft base building and 1000s of gun customization. Gameplay is king.

The only thing MGS has on Fallout is multiplayer, which is probably the only thing Bethesda probably got wrong. They could've did lobbies where you could run some co-op like Far Cry did, but I'm so damn impressed by what I just saw

Fallout's never been about the story so MGS has it there.

Gameplay wise they're both looking pretty ambitious. But this minecraft meets action rpg thing Fallout's doing has me more interested right now.

MGS story is a convoluted mess, I think MGS V has much more emphasis on gameplay than it's ridiculous story this time around though so they're just gonna be going head to head it seems

People need to get Bethesdas nuts outta their mouth. Fallout 4 is gonna drop unfinished and buggy as hell and the gameplay / combat is gonna be ass.

Fo4 looks like a ps3 game graphically. The gameplay and animations still look and you know damn well the story will be


And you know day 1 fo4 is going to be filled to the brim with game breaking bugs.

What? Metal Gear's amazing. I do however think that Fallout 4 will take GOTY. It's already recieved 10x the hype than Phantom Pain and Bethesda has a much larger fan base than Konami, especially since Skyrim. MGS was never a serious mainstream game.

Outside of Snake Eater all of the MGS stories have been

Let's not act like MGS V is not going to open with an hour long montage of child soldiers killing each other

And then at the end it says something like "THIS IS HAPPENING IN AFRICA EVERYDAY"

GOTY is an arbitrary title they slap on cover art every year for several different games. There doesn't seem to be any official criteria for which games can and can't use they "GOTY Edition" label.

MGS and Fallout are completely different games that should not be compared to one another.

Fallout 4 will be GOTY in 2017 when the game year edition with all of the DLC and bugs fixed is released.
