I'd consider myself an aficionado now. Few years before covid, I took a trip to the Dominican Republic and did a weekend cigar getaway/ informative tour. Since then I've spent a ton of time in central and south America always smuggling back Cubans when I can. I want to get to Nicaragua sometime soon.

My humidor will never be without my favorite duo:

Dominican Cohiba Black
(my go to regular Stogie due to its accessibility here in the states)

Authentic Cuban Romeo y Julieta No. 2
(I find these most easily while traveling outside the states, especially Canada where I got a few lounges I can hit in Toronto and Vancouver)

What lounges are you hitting up in Toronto?

Elm City
Dead wood - Fat Betty Bottom and Crazy Alice

Some infused cigars from time to time

Connecticut cigars don't have a particular favorite.

The pattern I've noticed is most dudes who smoke cigars have shıtty smelling breath. :scust:
Breh, I was at a cookout my cousin threw and some of us went out back to smoke. I was early 20s and never smelled a cigar. Idk if cats breath was foul or the cigar itself, but hell yeah lol. Just smoked a blunt and KIM

Yeah all that classy, sophisticated nonsense goes right out the window when your mouth smells like a frequently occupied porta potty at a construction work-site. :scusthov:

I find I’m liking these smaller cigars, currently the h.upmann half corona and Montecristo media corona are my goto with some cognac, scotch, or tea when I’m gonna smoke by myself. The god of fire was a disappointment for me, the Amazon basin i enjoyed and was the first one where i started to get flavors

Was just in Panama and Colombia last week. While in Colombia I stopped by a cigar lounge to restock on a variety of Cubans I can't get here. Wasn't a cheap haul, ran me $500 just for this batch. The highlight being a solo Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios which will run you over $100 per stoog.

Met a Dominican/Cubano that I helped out recently with an uncle that used to Roll Cigars and got a supposedly quality Cigar from him as thanks. Smoked a basic cigar and then smoked the quality one and the Tobacco/quality is definitely something to note, but all in all, Cigar smoking ain't a thing you can just pick up properly unless you buy quality or willing to spend for it. But I respect the craft.
