I' thinking about accepting an offer from a big 4 consultant firm. Trying to hear some some peoplle living that business consultant life. How do you guys like consulting?

Thanks for responding fam. I'm young. No kids. Will probably stop consulting once that happens cause it seems like it would be a tough balance.every consultant at my brothers level was divorced , one of his colleagues sold his house because he spent his life in hotels....
my brother left because he was fed up of not seeing his kids .....

Bottom line: lots of work, lots of hours. but you meet really cool people, cool clients. depending on your approach, and if you're working with public/private firms, there's many opportunities to travel
it's really.. superficial though. at least I don't get satisfaction from my work.

All the companies will market these positions as if they're really great and important. I work at a big 4 firm, they opened a new google-styled office with the hipster workspaces and treadmill desks.
