To be honest... It's the only place i felt comfortable living at..
Miami is straight. Most my homies down there were Cuban or Colombian. Didn't run into much static with Cubans down there, most were cool as hell
Like others said, they look after their own for sure.. But that's even against other Latinos as well. But if they know you then you're like family
My boys girl is Cuban and I met her parents.. Didn't speak no English and you would swear they were white.. But some of the genuinely FUNNIEST people I've ever met. Always had a joke for everything, nice as hell. Treated me like a son and barely knew me.
The women are just as cool. You'll get the ones that act like they're too good for you but it won't be because you're black. It'll be more of a class thing.. It's like that in ATL as well.
If you know know Spanish then bruh.. It's like why move?
Miami is just mixed with too much carribean/Latin American shyt. Too many brown people there for you not to blend in. I've talked to Cuban women, Dominican, Haitian, mixed, Puerto Rican, AA's, etc.. All down there and they were all equally fine.
I also look Dominican though. Every time I go down there they speak straight Spanish to me.. EVERYONE. If I knew Spanish I would've ate even more so
