I'm not deaf but I had a deaf friend in college. He kind of looked like a cross between Tom Selleck and Woody Harrelson. We go to the mini-mart store under the dorms to get snacks one evening. No big deal. We just became friends so I've never hung out with the dude. Anyway, we get inside and it's full of college students getting snacks. All these women were gawking at him. I felt like a ghost.
He just ignored them all. He had a girlfriend already. Some were blatantly looking at him like this....
