What exactly am I gonna learn breh? Personally cacs can't stop me from doing shyt. I live around black people, I work around black people, i party with black people. Cacs are inconsequential to me :manny:

I'm African breh. My bloodline traces back to the mother and father of humanity. I don't fear my offspring :yeshrug:
What those in BWS have learned.

Being on the defensive against them is equally as important as building our own.

Breh, you're talking about black wall street in a thread about raising money for a random black dude who needs a car. BWS has nothing to do with these crowd sourcing campaigns. You're so far off subject I don't even know what to say :dwillhuh:

So BWS wasnt black people building with each other like black people getting together and raising money for a black person does?

You seriously dont see a similarity?:dwillhuh:

you either want to TRULY and SELFISHLY want to see our people win or you don't
choose one...

Cosign. I'll be the 1st to admit that 1 point whenever I saw a black person doing good I automatically assumed the negative. He's driving an expensive car but living in his moms basement, he's selling drugs, etc. Because for whatever reason the idea of us doing good had to have a negative slant to it. I had to actively work on getting that shyt out of my head. Now when I see black people doing fly shyt (which I see a lot of in Atlanta) I'm proud to see one of us winning and it motivates me to keep moving forward.

some of yall have some serious self hate issues on here. Yall use any and every situation to perpetuate that blacks are inferior to whites in some way.

If you want to know why blacks(and i hate generalizing) may not be as enthusiastic in this case to donate is cause for many of us his "struggle" is not very unique. We can walk outside and see many hardworking folks struggling on mininum wage day to day with no cars walking to work at walmart or mcdonalds. For some whites and hipsters who drive through the hood with the windows up his story and struggle is foreign to them cause they dont understand it. And if they choose to give him money to make them feel better about themselves then more power to them. Many cacs think every black person in the hood is a charity case. I dont see how that is in any way an idictment on black america unless your a self hating c00n.

Look breh, we get it your gimmick, your the "i call people out" guy, we get it, i get it. Am not gong to waste my time @'ing people like i said the thread is all the proof i need

The coli double talk is how dudes (in general) spend all day making threads in here talkin about uplifting the AA community by economics , which i agree with and so do you I assume. In the same page a thread like the this one comes up (the original one about him walking 21 miles to work in Detroit) and not one word was said from people who from what i read seem to live in Detroit about helping him, it was jokes, which again nature of that coli. Now you have this thread in which we discover that some people (white people), and lets not talk about the fact that who knows how many black people donated , but let again assume its all whites, gave money and now this man as more than enough to buy a car , all of sudden there is a "negro go fund me" and he is being called a "pet" . This isn't white people i see calling him a pet, this is black people calling another black man someones pet . Thats the double talk am talking about . Also this thread only took this turn cause I brought it up, am sure if we had just let this thread cook for a while there would be have a bunch of other people agreeing with the premise that its someone how wrong white people to have helped this guy.

Also side note shout to @bdizzle whos the only person on here I have noticed that has done real work, he went over 6 hours out of his way to go down to Ferguson (proven) when shyt was popping, he did that toy drive for that single mom (proven) and Ive heard him talk about mentoring inner city kids , and he donated to Doctor Umars school (proven) ( and something am actually against) but theres no doubt he is currently out there taking action
Gotta agree with this

The average Black person (and actually for good reason logically) is so focused on just getting by on his day-to-day economically that he's not going to be able (or want is a better word) to start a fund for somebody else.

For example... imagine you raising money for some cat with a job when you have a job and you're still barely making ends meet.
and did you pull this "statistic" out of your ass? i think so

What an incredible journey. James is an amazing guy and it was so great meeting him last night. Blake Pollock and myself are working on creating a board/committee to handle the money that is raised. Attorneys, financial advisors, ect, are all coming into play. We are making sure to consider every angle of this fundraiser. It is so exciting that every penny that is being raised is going to James to help him with whatever he needs in life. Thank you all for your continued donations, kind words, and support.

:patrice:

Are these attorneys, financial advisors, etc. Doing this for free?

Would just like to clarify something in regard to my last update. James has asked for help with handling these donations. Setting up a committee/board was James' idea.
