I'm thinking about going back and getting a second degree because I don't have shyt else to do.

You got your degree in econ? Or are you thinking about going back to school and getting a degree in it?

Anyways, I'm only about a year in school. Economics kinda crept up on me, and I really find it interesting. I went in undecided, but figured that was what I was gonna be going for a couple of months in.

Economics major just graduated in May. Great major and very useful and practical in the world. I'm working as intern/paralegal now, planning on going the law school route in the next year or so.

Law is an interesting option to think about especially if u have good writing and comprehension skills and not care as much for the quantative analytical side of finance/accounting. A lot of economics majors in corporate law, not to mention big bucks (big law firms).

Current econ major here as well.

Corporate law seems like a pretty interesting route to go, I'm not interested at all in the statistics/quantitative portion of economics. Definitely will keep that in mind

Got an Economics degree and minored in Accounting... I do consulting...

Grossed 80k before taxes from Work, not including bonus...

What if you are pursuing a similar path but your school doesnt offer those minors :to:

And is there any use of a minor in Business? Thats always sounded like a waste to me, but its the closest my school has to finance :aicmon:

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
3 more semesters until I get my BS in Economics. I'm minoring in value, law, and policy. Wish I had minored in finance or accounting but I'll tack some of those courses on with my free electives :ehh:

Thought about going into the law school, but lately I haven't heard anything good about law school debts and the life of a lawyers period. I'm not the type of person who likes owing any money and plan to graduate college debt free thankfully.

Looking towards a financial analyst type job when I graduate while possibly working on my masters also would love an investment banking job, but it's a difficult industry to break into. :why:
