What’s up?

I use to do security for Home Depot and CSC events part time to pay for school. My father is an armed security Director for cardinal health.

I worked for 6 companies. Just stopped in May

When I moved to FL I stopped working security. I even Went and took the security class but never actually got the license. I’m kind of glad because most of the people down here in the south working security seem to be super hillbilly rednecks.

What is armed federal security? Does it pay an How does one get this type of job?
I do security at a federal building which requires a security clearance and a month long training academy.

If youre going to do security, it must be at an armed federal building or some kind of federal site otherwise you are wasting your time.
The place Im at pays 31/hr and there was plenty of overtime as well before Covid hit.
There are other places that pay up to 40/hr but the conditions at those places are usually miserable and they have a high turnover rate.
I applied online using Indeed.com.

This can be a dead end job/career unless you are flexible, able to finesse, willing to work different hours, and can manipulate people.
I actually dont recommend it. I can make it work, but theres a lot of things that are going to be out of your control, and your experience can vary greatly.

31 an hour is not bad though.
