How bout supporting the sites u visit on a regular basis
The way I see it is this. If you're running a business then it's up to you to run it in such a way that that business sustains itself and if profitable. I pay my ISP for my internet access like everyone else. I shouldn't have to put up with your obtrusive ad partners and garbage just to browse the internet I pay to access. It's like my DVR. I just fast forward the commercials I don't view them.

I rarely view a direct online advertisement for a product and purchase it. I find out about products that interest me either through word of mouth through people I know or through more indirect advertising like sponsored YouTube videos and the like. So no I'm not going to tolerate people running scripts with obtrusive bullshyt popping up on my computer and phone for that.

It's not my moral obligation to view these meaningless ads I'm completely uninterested in seeing anyway.

If a site has to charge for access then if I feel like it's worth paying that then I'll pay and if I don't then I won't. I go to some of these sites and they're auto playing videos I didn't approve of and popping them up in front of me on splash screens and popping up new windows I didn't ask for or approve of. Ad blockers became viable when these advertisers got out of hand.

It's gotten so ridiculous that If I go on YouTube to watch a movie trailer which is an advertisement I need to watch an advertisement to see that advertisement. Online advertisement is polluting the internet.

The audacity of these people to do a spot check on my PC that they didn't pay for to see what software I'm running and tell me I can't use my PC and internet which I pay for both to access a free online site is absurd. It's one thing where a site like Bangbros says yeah we have a membership and you aren't a paying member so you get no access.
