I look at it this way, if you can comfortably afford to pay some else, then it's ok. If you can't COMFORTABLY afford to pay someone else like that, then you should definitely do it yourself.
I knew a dude who was fukking with this chick for a long time, and even though he'd sleep over her house sometimes and eat her cooking, the nikka never mowed her lawn, imo it also would have even been ok if he paid someone else to do it, as long as he took care of it somehow, but he wouldn't even do that. The chick had to pay someone out of her own pocket to do it even though he was over there frequently. I personally think that's pathetic
