Any iPad Pro users in the Arcadium?

I’m picking up the 12.9in M1 with the keyboard and pencil later today. I already have an Air for work but I wanted a separate device for personal projects and felt another laptop would be redundant. Aside from web browsing/email I’d mostly be using GarageBand & iMovie on it, along with note taking, FaceTime calls, and storing files. I know it’s somewhat overkill for what I’m using it for, but I wanted that nice ass screen


Are there any power users in the arcadium with any tips/tricks or general advice?

I have two 2nd and 3rd generation. shyt can replace your laptop if you buy a USB hub. I haven't used it in a while because both my younger sons took it for their own

nope...I just like the bigger screen size…I look at my old ipad with disgust now…I only use that one now when I’m using the bathroom

I have the 12.9 pro with magic keyboard and pencil. I honestly don’t see myself wanting another MacBook again, procreate almost entirely replaces photoshop for me.

And if you plan on using a pencil on it regularly i would suggest getting the paper like screen protector as it gives it more of a natural feel/texture

Got the 11 inch one earlier this summer for absolutely no real reason.shyt was such a good investment. I was always on that “why would I need an tablet when I have a laptop” shyt and now I barely use my laptop.

Can’t code with it but I do everything else with it
Like typing this post with the magic keyboard

I have a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9' with a Magic Keyboard...

I basically just use it to browse the web these days because my new 16 inch M1 Pro MBP took its place for everything else.

I also have a 2020 27' iMac.

Basically Apple owns my life and my wallet
