I just made her feel unappreciated, and I did kind of take her for granted. We were high school sweethearts too, but a couple years ago i became a bit more distant, I didn't want to hang around her as much and I'd go out with friends instead. We'd argue more, and my issues with my family ( we grew up poor and they always need my help since I'm doing alright for myself, or they're just pissing me off about something
) I'd subconsciously take it out on her. I stopped doing all of the sweet shyt I used to do too. It was a slow drift apart, but I always thought she would be there, I thought as long as i didn't cheat I'd be good, but I didn't realize I was just doing the bare minimum after a while. Honestly, I can't blame her, but it doesn't make it hurt any less.I'll tell you guys this, the most sure fire way to lose a woman is to make her feel neglected and unappreciated, I almost feel like if I cheated instead I would've had a better chance at getting back with her. I learned my lesson and I think I'm a better man for it though.
